For most other research, begin with our free assessment, as described in our Costs and Fees page, before moving on to actual research where you have control of your budget and the direction in which the work is carried out.

For those who wish to visit Northern Ireland we will provide assisted research at any of the record centres. Our guided tour service will use any research results to show you the places relevant to your family.

In addition to tracing backwards you may wish Family Ulster to find any living relatives who still reside here and organise a meeting.
