Since 1999 Family Ulster has provided a genealogy service as a sub-division of the guided tour company TourUlster. Today this family history research service stands alone.

Our unique service now offers genealogical research, tailor-made sightseeing tours or a combination of both. You will be able to take an expertly guided tour to the towns, villages, graveyards, schools and maybe even people who feature in your family tree.

We are founder members of the Society of Genealogists of Northern Ireland and, as such, adhere to the best principles of professional research.

Living relatives
Most people begin to research their family tree in order to find out more about their ancestors. Another very rewarding aspect is to research forward from a relative who remained in Northern Ireland.

On many occasions this will result in the discovery of a living relative, someone to contact or meet up with, and someone who will almost certainly be interested to hear from you. Family Ulster will carry out this investigation and contact any relative on your behalf. If they are amenable to the idea we will arrange an introduction.
